How it works

1

Upload the PDF

Drop one PDF into the upload area. Files up to 100 MB are accepted.

2

List the pages to remove

Use print-dialog notation: 1,3,5 for single pages, 2-8 for a range, 1-3,7 for a mix of both.

3

Download the trimmed file

The named pages are dropped and the rest is returned as one PDF called your-file-pages-removed.pdf.

Name the pages, keep the document

Upload one PDF, type the pages you want removed, and download what is left as a single file. The notation is the same one you would use in a print dialog: 1,3,5 for individual pages, 2-8 for a range, 1-3,7 when you need both. The surviving pages keep their original order, so a 40-page report minus pages 5 and 6 is still the same report, just shorter.

Processing happens on our own server with pdf-lib, and the kept pages are copied rather than re-rendered. Text stays selectable, images keep their resolution and the file is not degraded by a round trip through an image format. The download is named after your file with -pages-removed added, so the original and the trimmed version are easy to tell apart in a downloads folder.

What the tool will and will not do

  • One PDF at a time, up to 100 MB. Longer documents just take a little longer to upload.
  • At least one page must remain. A list that covers the entire document is refused rather than returning an empty file.
  • Page numbers are checked. If you name a page the document does not have, you get a plain message instead of a silently wrong result.
  • Password-protected files are turned away. Remove the open password first with Unlock PDF, then come back.
  • No watermark and no sign-up. You download the complete result.

Deleting, splitting or extracting

Three tools cover overlapping jobs, and the right one depends on how you think about the file. Use this page when the unwanted pages are the short list: blank sheets from a scanner, a cover page, an internal appendix. Use Extract Pages when the opposite is true and you can name the handful of pages worth keeping. Use Split PDF when you want the pieces as separate documents, since it can return several parts packed in one ZIP.

A common cleanup order after scanning is to fix orientation with Rotate PDF, delete the blank backs of double-sided sheets here, then compress the result if the scanner produced a heavy file.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete one page from a PDF?

+

Upload the file, type the page number on its own, for example 13, and download the result. Every other page stays in place and in the same order.

Can I remove several pages or a range at once?

+

Yes. Separate entries with commas and use a hyphen for ranges, so 1-3,7,20-24 removes the first three pages, page seven and the last block in a single run.

What happens if I name a page that does not exist?

+

The tool stops and says so instead of guessing. Check the page count in your viewer, correct the list and run it again.

Can I delete every page?

+

No. At least one page has to remain, otherwise there is no document left to download. If you list the whole file, the tool refuses the request.

Does deleting pages reduce quality?

+

No. The pages you keep are copied from the source PDF rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution and layout is unchanged.
